What we do

At the heart of ARCH is a partnership between schools, businesses, professionals, charities and cultural organisations in Reading. ARCH includes everything from regular annual events to one-off talks and festivals. The common thread is the desire to improve the life chances of young people: to help them explore and fulfil their potential and live with confidence, purpose and joy.

Clare Balding explains why she is an advocate for the ARCH programme

How it works

Schools come together to design events, connect with partners and get young people involved. Depending on the event schools might spread the word to families or bring students themselves. All ARCH activities use innovative community connections to develop aspiration and self-discovery.
